WA-C1 Mod packs all of the vintage tones, functionality, and vibe of the famous original chorus/vibrato pedal into a pedalboard-friendly design, while adding even more tonal flexibility. Like the larger-format Warm Audio C1, the WA-C1 Mod has a dedicated vibrato section and 100% analog preamp, now with a Vintage/Modern switch to choose between the character and response of the original preamp or bypass it for cleaner, more modern chorus tones. The carefully designed circuit brings the vintage depth of the modulation when turned all the way up, with variable depth to dial back for subtle tones. With a reduced footprint and top-mounted jacks, WA-C1 Mod delivers rich depth and wobbly rate in waves while taking up less space on your board.

Deeper, Richer, Bigger: Chorus & Vibrato Tone

WA-C1 Mod delivers the lauded tones of the vintage Bucket Brigade analog chorus, the features of the Warm WA-C1, and updated pedalboard-friendly features - in one box! While vintage designs tied intensity to LFO speed and BBD delay time, the WA-C1 Mod adds independent depth control for everything from subtle modulation to lush, sweeping chorus. The Vintage/Modern switch engages or bypasses the analog preamp for classic vintage character or cleaner, more modern chorus tones. Engaging Hi-Z shifts the character from 70s warmth to a brighter 80s color with added upper-mids and treble, while the High input sensitivity setting adds headroom and clarity. A flashing LED provides visual effect and modulation-rate monitoring. WA-C1 Mod is 100% analog and built with premium components, including a premium Xvive MN3007 BBD chip. Compared to the WA-C1, the WA-C1 Mod adds top-mounted jacks and a vintage/modern switch that makes the vintage preamp bypassable.
