“The WA12 is two mic pres in one. It has the clarity and punch of an API but when the Tone button is in it becomes thick and heavy. I really love it on Bass guitar.” – Lars Stalfors
What are users saying about it?
“Ok. This is my favorite pre-amp I have fallen in love with it. After my first use. I have used it on bands, high school, voice overs, vocals. It’s works for me in every situation.”
“I really think this warm is a great buy. As far as beefiness and clean gain, it’s holding it’s own against my Burl B1D. And I think the Burl is a great pre. But at half the cost it says a lot to say that it sounds that good.”
“The tone button is amazing. Is it weird that I literally like it on every instrument? Only thing I ever don’t use it pushed in on is my vocals while using a sm7b. But it makes every instrument I own sound better! Love it on my telecaster!”
“The P-Bass sounded great too! Really up front and punchy, but still full and deep. The bass player wants to redo all the songs with the WA12. So, this thing is a hit! I love it!”
“I’m really digging it! And, it’s not just the “new toy” thing….. it really does work and sound great on just about everything.”
“Dude. This pre is amazing.”
“DUDE, I’m literally laughing out loud as I playback these takes.”
“I plugged it in, turned it on and said …Test, test, raised the gain TEST HOLY CRAP! Totally and incredibility dazzled. The magic switch… oh dear”
“Like it? I love it… Really love it! I’ll be spreading the word.”
